Woodworking for Beginners

I created this site to give some information on woodworking - especially on woodworking for beginners. Woodworking can be a great hobby; essentially you are creating something from scratch - and out of a natural resource, wood. Woodworking for beginners can be highly rewarding, especially in times where mass production is the norm, and PVC / plastic is the preferred choice of materials.

As a woodworking beginner,  you should start out with gathering as much information as possible about your soon-to-be new hobby. Search for woodworking for beginners plans and layouts, see if there are any woodworking classes in your local community you could sign up for, and ask your friends or neighbors if they have any experience in woodworking you could draw on.

Smaller projects like the garden bench or a bookshelf can be accomplished with “normal” household tools, like a hammer and a hand-saw.
